Das Park Hotel, Hotel Yang Terbuat Dari Gorong-Gorong Di Austria

Das Park Hotel adalah salah satu hotel unik yang ada di dunia. Jika biasanya sebuah hotel akan menghadirkan kemewahan, maka tidak demikian dengan hotel ini.

Das Park Hotel malah menawarkan kesederhanaan pada penyewanya. Kamar-kamar hotel yang terletak di sebuah taman di Ottensheim, Austria ini terbuat dari gorong-gorong alias saluran air besar dari beton.

Gorong-gorong yang dijadikan hotel ini merupakan ide dari Andreas Strauss, dan direalisasikan tahun 2004. Dengan sedikit polesan pada dinding, juga tambahan kasur dan perabot sederhana, sebuah gorong-gorong mampu dibuat nyaman dan bernilai ekonomis.

Setiap pintu dilengkapi dengan keypad digital yang akan diberikan nomor kombinasinya jika Anda telah memesan dan membayar tagihannya secara online. Hal tersebut mencegah juga pencuri masuk kala Anda sedang tidur.

Kini, tidak hanya di Austria saja terdapat hotel gorong-gorong semacam ini, namun Jerman pun telah mengadaptasinya di daerah Essen.

Biasanya yang menyewa hotel ini merupakan para turis backpacker, atau mereka yang ingin sedikit berpetualang merasakan sensasi tidur yang berbeda. Sayangnya, hotel ini hanya buka di musim panas saja, sekitar bulan Mei hingga Oktober. Unik.

Belasan Polwan Siap Hibur Keluarga Korban

JAKARTA -Keluarga korban korban kecelakaan pesawat Sukhoi Superjet 100 mulai mulai memadati ruang tunggu Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Tingkat I Raden Said Soekanto, Kramat Jati, Jakarta Timur, Selasa (22/5/2012).

Rencananya, hari ini keluarga atau kerabat mendapatkan kesempatan untuk melihat jenazah korban. Untuk meminimalisir hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan, polisi menyiapkan 11 polisi wanita (polwan) untuk mendampingi keluarga korban.

"Hal ini dilakukan untuk penanganan khusus dari polwan, dari Polda ada 15, cuma yang datang hanya 11. Yang 4 sedang dinas," kata Kepala Negosiator Polda Metro Jaya, Kompol Supriyatno, di di Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara.

Salah satu polwan mengatakan, kedatangannya tak lain untuk menghibur keluarga korban yang belum bisa menerima kepergian orang yang mereka cintai. Para polwan ini membagi tugas mereka dalam upaya mendampingi keluarga korban.

"Kami mungkin bisa menghibur keluarga korban supaya mereka tidak 'down'. Kami nanti menangani keluarga korban dibagi-bagi," terang polwan yang bernama Bripda Roudhotul Jannah dengan ramah.

Dihadapkan secara langsung bukan cara terbaik mendapat jawaban terjujur. Faktanya, ahli menemukan, orang cenderung berkata jujur lewat pesan teks atau SMS.
Hal ini disebabkan, orang punya waktu lebih banyak untuk berpikir. "Hasil awal dari studi kami orang cenderung mengungkap informasi sensitif melalui pesan teks atau SMS dibanding tatap muka secara langsung," kata psikolog kogitif Fred Conrad dari University of Michigan.

Hal ini berlawan dengan anggapan banyak orang bahwa informasi sensitif tak akan diungkap melalui pesan teks karena ini dianggap mampu menciptakan jejak visual yang tertinggal di ponsel.
Hasil ini diketahui setelah para ahli ini melakukan studi pada 600 pengguna iPhone. Demikian seperti dikutip DM.
